Free Maths Skills Assessment
(valued at $200)
Term 3 Program begins Monday 13th July
1. Free Maths Skills Assessment
Answer the short form above and we’ll send your child the most suitable Maths Skills Assessment based on their course, goals and current situation.
Once completed, Dimitri reviews their responses to identify where they sit, what’s holding them back and what they need to improve next.
2. Get a Clear Maths Roadmap
We’ll organise a short strategy call to walk you through the results and map out the best path forward.
You’ll know whether your child needs help with foundations, exam technique, harder questions, consistency or study structure.
3. Maths Mastery Program Offer
For students who are a good fit, the Term 3 program begins with a Holiday Head-start Week, followed by two weekly classes focused on learning, practice and exam preparation.
1. Holiday Headstart Week
Students complete 6 × 3-hour sessions in the last week of the school holidays, covering the first 4 weeks of Term 3 content before school goes back.
Your child starts Term 3 already ahead, so school becomes revision and reinforcement instead of first exposure.
2. Two Weekly Workshops
Students attend 2 × 1.5-hour live workshops each week, split by course and ability level.
Workshops focus on theory and maximum applied practice, so students spend more time solving questions with guidance.
So your child builds skill through doing, not just watching explanations.
3. Targeted Exam Preparation
Exam preparation is built into the program through assessment-style questions.
Your child learns how to break down difficult questions
into marks under exam conditions.
4. Weekly Accountability
When students receive a school assessment notification, we tailor practice around the topics, question types and difficulty level they are likely to face.
Questions they struggle with are revisited using spaced revision so they don’t forget them after class.
Your child prepares with a clear plan instead of guessing what to study.
5. Focused Practice, Not More Busywork
The program focuses on the highest-value skills, concepts and question types instead of adding unnecessary extra homework.
Most of the important work is completed inside the weekly sessions, with help sessions available for unfinished work and school support.
Maths becomes more structured and efficient, winning back time for other subjects
The main program is designed for Year 11 Mathematics Advanced and Extension 1 students.
If your child is in Maths Standard, complete the assessment and Dimitri will let you know whether we can help or recommend a better fit.
The main program is taught by Dimitri, founder of Axiom HSC Tutoring, a UNSW Mathematics graduate with 11+ years of HSC Maths teaching experience.
Students are taught with one clear structure, one consistent method and a strong focus on exam preparation, efficient study and the question types that matter.
The program runs in small groups, not large lecture-style classes.
Students are grouped by course and ability level, so they can be pushed at the right standard while still receiving live guidance, feedback and accountability.
This gives students the benefit of group energy and discussion without being lost in a class of 20+ students.
We also provide 1-1 tutoring and offer it if that is the best fit for your child's situation. Dimitri can help answer that.
The program is delivered online by design.
Students can see Dimitri’s working clearly, ask questions live, solve problems during class and avoid losing time travelling to and from tutoring.
For busy Year 11 students balancing multiple subjects, that saved time matters.
The program begins with a Holiday Head-start Week: 6 × 3-hour sessions in the final week of the school holidays.
During the term, students attend 2 × 1.5-hour workshop classes each week.
The goal is not to add more unnecessary homework. Most of the important work is completed inside the weekly sessions, with help sessions available for unfinished work.
No, the program is designed to make Maths more structured and efficient, not to overload students with more work.
Students are guided through targeted workshop questions, exam-style practice and weekly accountability so they know what matters instead of wasting hours guessing what to study.
The goal is for Maths to support their ATAR, not consume it.
We only recommend the program after reviewing your child’s assessment, goals and current situation.
If we don’t believe the Maths Mastery Program is the right fit, we’ll tell you honestly and recommend a better next step.
For enrolled students, the first two weeks are used to confirm fit, workload and confidence in the program.
If it’s clearly not suitable, we’ll work with you on the best resolution.
After you submit the form, we’ll send your child the most suitable Maths Skills Assessment based on their course, goals and current situation.
Once your child completes it, Dimitri reviews their responses and organises a strategy call to walk you through where they sit, what is holding them back and what they need to improve next.
If the program is a good fit, we’ll explain how the Term 3 Maths Mastery Program can help.
I began my academic journey with a Bachelor of Health Science at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) but transitioned to the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 2020, where I graduated with a BSc Mathematics.
Part of why I decided to start Axiom HSC Tutoring was to provide my students with the direction and support that I feel I missed out on when I was in school. I believe having a mentor to guide you through these critical years is invaluable, and that is what all our tutors aim to be
My teaching philosophy is based on mastering the fundamentals and employing effective learning strategies to help students build confidence, become critical thinkers, and achieve academic success through a deep understanding of course content.
